Terms of service
Effective date: 9 August 2026
These terms govern use of GoServe’s web app, mobile app, and API (together, the “Service”), operated for cafes and restaurants in Nepal. By signing in and using the Service, you and/or your employer (“you”, “Workspace”) agree to these terms.
Who this is for
GoServe is a business-to-business tool. Individual staff accounts are created and managed by a Workspace owner/admin — there is no public self-registration inside the app. You must be authorized by your Workspace to use the Service under that Workspace.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials (email OTP access, or the Google account you sign in with) secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any purpose other than operating your Workspace’s cafe/restaurant business;
- attempt to access data belonging to a Workspace you are not a member of;
- interfere with the Service’s operation or attempt to circumvent its security;
- use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, including Nepal’s tax (VAT) and consumer protection requirements.
Workspace data and ownership
Data entered into a Workspace (orders, menu, inventory, staff records, reports) belongs to that Workspace. Workspace owners/admins control who on their team can access it. We act as the processor of that data on the Workspace’s behalf.
Payments
eSewa and Khalti payments are processed directly by those providers via their QR-based flow; GoServe is not a party to those payment transactions and does not hold your card or wallet credentials. Subscription/billing terms for the GoServe product itself are set out separately in your Workspace’s plan agreement.
Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available and responsive, including an offline mode that queues actions when connectivity drops and syncs once it’s restored, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. Contact hello@goserve.com.np for support.
Termination
A Workspace owner may close their Workspace, or remove a staff member’s access, at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms or applicable law.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoServe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Nepali law.
Changes to these terms
We’ll update the effective date above when these terms change, and will give notice of material changes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
